Warmth and padding against ski boots, etc…w/out feeling bulky. They’re really warm and fit very well. I HATE seams in my socks. They really bother my feet. For anyone who’s got overly sensitive tooties like mine, these are perfect. No knots and seams pinching my feet. I like them for padding about the house w/out boots on too.
